They are a dynamic group with loads of energy and ready for any task we put them to.

All Tied Up

We have been real busy bees. The muscles ache a tiny bit and there are a few bruises and scratches but we are surviving. Our weather has been most kind and we have been able to do all our activities. We miss the Mommies and Daddies a teeny weeny bit and will be back to give hugs and kisses tomorrow. Until then Toodle-loo - hope you missed us too.

Early Morning Devotion in the Bush

At last I have a moment to post - so sorry we are a bit late but we have been having loads of fun with your kids.

All are safe and we had a very good first night sleep. This I think is due to the activities that started as soon as they arrived. 

OH!! How Dirty We Are

Our weather is good and it is slightly cooler than last week so at least we are not having major sunburn. Temperature is still around 30 deg though. 

All the cameras are out with the teachers and facilitators at the moment and I will update this post as soon as everyone is back at camp. 

Don't stress about the kids we promise to look after them.

Proof That We Still Have Them All

Sooooo sorry we could not post earlier Mommies and Daddies, but we firstly had no internet connection and then we had so much fun with the kids that we were not in the office the whole day.

Once again St Columbas have sent us magic little people who went over everything, under everything, through everything and still survived with a smile.

Last night they did not have much sleep – not our fault, but tonight they are bushed and tucked up in bed all safe and sound.

You can be very proud of them. Brave little souls who we have enjoyed immensely.

An Obstacle

A Splash to Cool Off

Well what a day at Rich Ranch. WE thought 8 O'clock breakfast was good for camp but from breakfast until now which is 9.30 in the evening it has been obstacle courses of every kind. From not touching the ground for I don't know how long to getting the whole team over a wall four rimes as high as we are tall. From getting tied up and following a rope through and over and under to putting team members through tiny holes. You name it we have done it. We swam with the Koi and overcame our fear of heights. We had a fancy dress party and wiggled our bums to a tune or two and now we are ready for a good nights rest.

We would like to let all the parents know that the Tom Newby leaders arrived safe and sound and camp has started with a Big Bang.

Your children may change a little while they are here with us and return home with a few bumps and bruises, but we promise to look after them very well.

Al was daar “Scrapes and Scratches” en “A Black Out” het ons almal heel terug gestuur. Jy moet sterk wees om by Kanonkop Höerskool skool te gaan.

Well done to all who survived this special camp. Work hard one day it will be your turn to put the Grade 8’s through their paces.

Sorry we are late with the post but this is a camp with loads of work to round off the group for their year as prefects.

The day was fill with the "Amazing Race" and swimming and then of course all the workshops about leadership styles and planning.
