Update on Rich Ranch
This time I have a legit reason for not keeping the blog up to date this time.
Well for anyone who does not live on a farm, you have no idea of what it takes to get back to normal after a disaster. The end of last year it was “Flood Disaster”
If you have ever visited here you will know we live at the bottom of the valley so when it rains, all the rain in the area lands up down in our valley. As you can see from the photos that it was so bad we could not even see our pool.
At the start of December we were all set to put our feet up and enjoy three weeks of peace and quiet, but then the rain came. It started with our hall being flooded, then the lightning hit our MTN Booster, then the lightning hit our DSTV aerial. It was not only the natural elements giving us a hard time but the devil had to poke his nose in our business and we had a geyser burst and flood us out. I could go on and list a few more disasters but it will sound like I’m a moan pot.
In about a month we will be back to normal - it has taken us a bit longer than it should have because we were so busy with the schools and the earth has been so wet we have not been able to get in everywhere to rebuild.
We want to thank everyone that has been so stellar about our situation and worked around a few inconveniences with us through the last few months. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
You are the guys that make us do what we do. We love you all for that. Special thanks to the following schools : Summerfield Primary, Robert Curruthers Primary, Kanonkop Hoer Skool, St Mary’s Diocesan From Pretoria, Tom Newby Primary School, St Paulus Private School, Ashton College, St Columba’s Convent, Arbour Primary, Mkulu Combined, SBSM Private School and Groblersdal Primary School. Thanks for the support, we really appreciate.
We wish you all everything of the best for this year and hope you use our theme of the year at you school
“Go Out There and Make a New Friend”
You know it worked here and it will definitely work anywhere you apply it.
Hope to see you all back again
